Alkimos is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located within the City of Wanneroo. Its postcode is 6038. Alkimos is named after the shipwreck of the Greek freighter Alkimos on the adjacent coast. The suburb is presently unpopulated. There are future plans for an Alkimos-Eglinton Satellite City, covered by Amendment 1029/33 to the Metropolitan Region Scheme (May 2006). [link] [link]
