Allahabad High Court

The Allahabad High Court was one of the last High Courts of India to be established in India. It was originally founded as the Agra High Court on June 11, 1866 by the High Courts Act of 1861. The location was shifted to Allahabad in 1875 and the name was correspondingly changed. It has jurisdiction over the sate of Uttar Pradesh. A bench of the court is present in Lucknow, the administrative capital of the state.
It has a sanctioned strength of 95.
