Allahganj is a town and a nagar panchayat in Shahjahanpur district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India.

Geography

Allahganj is located at [27.55° N 79.68° E][Falling Rain Genomics, Inc - Allahganj]. It has an average elevation of 142 metres (465 feet).

Demographics

As of 2001 India census^{[Geographic references#IndiaGRIndia]}, Allahganj had a population of 11,956. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Allahganj has an average literacy rate of 50%, lower than the national average of 59.5%; with 63% of the males and 37% of females literate. 19% of the population is under 6 years of age.
