Alpine skiing combined
Encyclopedia : A : AL : ALP : Alpine skiing combined
Combined is an alpine skiing discipline. It consists of one run of downhill and two runs of slalom skiing (in that exact order). In the Winter Olympic Games, slalom and downhill for a combined contest are run separately from regular slalom and downhill (combined courses are shorter). The times from all three runs are added and the winner is the contestant with the best overall time.
