Alternative Comics is a comics publisher located in Gainesville, Florida.
It is operated by attorney Jeff Mason and is noted for having cartoonists such as Graham Annable, Gabrielle Bell, Nick Bertozzi, Tomer Hanuka, Dean Haspiel, Sam Henderson, Damon Hurd, James Kochalka, Jon Lewis, Matt Madden, Josh Neufeld, Joel Orff, Jen Sorensen, Rich Tommaso, Sara Varon and others in its stable of creators.
Alternative Comics has also established a reputation as a distributor for Xeric Foundation award-winners, and has distributed books by Xeric winners Leela Corman, Derek Kirk Kim, Neufeld, Bishakh Som, Sorensen, Karl Stevens, Lauren Weinstein, and many others.
