Alternative Turner Prize

The Alternative Turner Prize is an annual art prize given to artists in Britain. The prize was established in 2002. The shortlist consists of eight artists selected by a panel and in the past, artists from visual art mediums as diverse as photography, sculpting, painting, graffiti art, and internet art have been nominated for the prize.
