Alvin Bennett

Alvin "Al" Bennett (died March 1989), from Joiner, Arkansas ^{[[Citing sources citation needed]]}, was the co-founder of Liberty Records, and its president until 1968. At that time he founded Cream Records, which absorbed Hi Records in 1977. Bennett is also known for lending his name to the character of Alvin from The Chipmunks.
