Alyawarre are an Indigenous Australian tribe or people from the Northern Territory. The name has also been spelt Alyawarra, Alyawarr and Iliaura.

In 1980 they lodged a land claim with the Wakaya people, which was handed back to them on 22 October 1992. The size of the land was 2065 square km. [link]

The Utopia community, 250km north east of Alice Springs was set up in 1927 which is partly on Alyawarre land, also on land of the Anmatyerre. [link] The famous (and most highly paid) Aboriginal painter, Emily Kngwarreye, an Anmatyerre woman, came from this community.
