The Amadeus Global Travel Distribution System is a electronic reservation system. It is the world's second largest ranked by market share. It is used by airlines, hotels, travel agents and other related businesses in the travel industry.

Amadeus products and services are used in many different ways. There are nearly 75,000 travel agencies and more than 11,000 airline sales offices that use Amadeus. Amadeus is built modularly which allows users to optimize their distribution systems and to meet internal operational requirements.

Amadeus has an established global presence.  It has 75 national marketing companies that are located in over 215 markets worldwide.  Additionally, Amadeus has 5 regional centers, and 3 research and development centers. Amadeus employs 6,500 employees worldwide and their workforce is comprised of people from over 100 nationalities.

Amadeus is a member of SITA.
