Amanda Abizaid is a singer / songwriter originally from Beirut, Lebanon. She moved to the United States at the age of nine.

Amanda co-formed the band Blue in Los Angeles and later became a solo artist. She has performed songs for several television series, including Odd Girl Out, One Tree Hill, Charmed, Summerland, Smallville, and The 4400 for which she sang the theme song, "A Place in Time".

Amanda is a professionally trained pianist, flautist and classically trained vocalist from the age of five. Born in Beirut, Lebanon, Amanda's family went to the United States when she was nine, and her love for music continued. Amanda lived in New York, London and Miami, and has been influenced by many different artists and musicians, allowing her to find my own unique and original sound. Mixing a rock/soul/eclectic root with world sounds and haunting melodies gives Amanda the signature sound she has today.

Amanda has been fortunate to work with such artists as Jennifer Stills (Stephen Stills), Todd Sucherman (Styx), Brian Tichy (Ozzy Osbourne), Bird York and Lili Haydn. Most recently, Amanda's voice can be heard on Odd Girl Out (LifetimeNetwork), "Dreams In Ashes", and The 4400 theme song, "A Place in Time", in which the writers were awarded at the 2005 BMI Film & Television Music Awards.
