Amy Wong

Amy Wong (born August 4, 2980) is a fictional character, one of the main characters from the FOX television animated series Futurama. She is studying engineering at Mars University, and to help her with her studies she works as an intern at Planet Express (supposedly kept around because she shares Professor Farnsworth's blood type). She is voiced by Lauren Tom.
On the show, Amy is known for being somewhat shallow and ditzy, and for her overuse of futuristic 31st century slang, such as "Spluh", "Goweesh", "Globviously" and "Buh". She also tends to dress provocatively, frequently being the person on screen wearing the least clothing. In one episode, she confesses to Fry that she dresses that way to rebel against her parents. There is also a half-rivalry with Leela about their looks and love lives, with Amy always ready with a putdown - although, deep down, Amy does respect Leela and counts her as a friend. When aggravated, Amy occasionally starts cursing in Cantonese.
Amy has dated many men. She dated Fry for a while but the relationship fizzled out (see "Put Your Head on my Shoulders"). However during their relationship he was involved in an accident which caused her to have his head grafted onto her shoulder to save his life; she still carries a disfiguring scar from the incident. In 3001 she started dating Kif Kroker and they have been dating ever since. Although she is not ready for total commitment, Amy is sure that one day she will be.
Amy has an obscene tattoo on her upper left arm; however, despite the fact that her upper left arm is often showing, her tattoo is never seen on air. She once commented on Fry's ancient 20th century television set, saying that she doubted whether the resolution would even be able to show off her obscene tatoo, providing an answer to this question.
