Encyclopedia : A : AN : ANA : Anavet Cup
The Anavet Cup is a championship ice hockey trophy, won through a best-of-7 series, conducted by the Canadian Junior A Hockey League. The series is played between the Turnbull Cup champions of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League and the Credential Cup champions of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League. The winner of the Anavet Cup moves on to compete for the Royal Bank Cup, the Junior "A" National Championship.
The Anavet Cup Champion traditionally plays off against the Doyle Cup Champion at the Royal Bank Cup for the Western Canadian Championship, The Abbott Cup.
