André-Adolphe-Eugène Disdéri (1819 - 1889) was a French photographer.

Disderi invented the Carte de Visite. "Carte de Visite"s are calling cards used by the middle class as fancy business and personal cards. They are very small: 2-1/2 by 4 inches. Disderi invented a camera to make multiple images on one glass plate.
