Andros is a fictional character and hero in the Power Rangers universe, starring in the television series . Character History Andros - Red Space Ranger - Morphed Andros is from the planet KO-35, and possesses telekinesis. He has long been the Red Space Ranger. When the left the Earth after the Power Chamber was destroyed, Andros found them and (after some convincing) gave them the other four Astro morphers. Andros became the leader of the team. During the series, Andros developed a relationship with fellow Ranger Ashley Hammond. He also discovered that his sister Karone, who had been kidnapped by Darkonda as a child, had become the evil princess Astronema. He managed to convince her to change her allegiance, but she was captured again and brainwashed. Red Battlized Armor In the finale episode, Countdown to Destruction, Andros boarded Astronema's Dark Fortress and discovered Zordon, who had been missing since the beginning of the series. At Zordon's insistence, and much hesitation, Andros shattered Zordon's energy tube, which released a wave of energy that destroyed the army attacking the universe. This act also freed Astronema of her brainwashing, and he was reunited with his sister again. Andros later returned in ', in which he and the other Space Rangers teamed up with the Lost Galaxy Rangers to defeat the Psycho Rangers. He also appeared in ' in the episode Forever Red, and teamed up with nine other Red Rangers to destroy the remains of the Machine Empire. After this episode, Andros is an active Ranger, and is most likely patrolling the galaxy in the Astro Megaship Mark II. Trivia Andros is the first Red Ranger to have a Battlizer. Andros is the first Red Ranger to morph in the Wild Force episode, Forever Red. Andros's sister Karone would become a Ranger herself, (The second Pink Ranger) although both Andros and Karone would not serve on the same team.
