Angus MacNeil

Angus Brendan MacNeil (born July 21, 1970) is the Scottish National Party Member of Parliament for Na h-Eileanan an Iar. He was elected in the 2005 general election, defeating Calum MacDonald of the Labour Party.
In March 2006, MacNeil brought attention to himself by lodging a formal complaint with the Metropolitan Police regarding the Labour Party Cash for Peerages scandal. In April 2006, he and former "anti-sleaze" MP Martin Bell wrote to prime minister, Tony Blair calling for all appointments to the House of Lords to be suspended in the wake of the scandal.
