Anhluut'ukwsim Laxmihl Angwinga'asanskwhI Nisga'a Provincial Park is a provincial park in British Columbia, Canada.

History and conservation

This is the first provincial park within British Columbia to combine native culture (in this case Nisga'a culture) along with unqiue environmental landscapes. Nisga'a Memorial Lava Bed Park is the first British Columbia provincial park to be managed by both BC Parks and the First Nation treaty holders.

The parks aims to protect moose, goats, marmots, bears and many other species of wildlife. This region also contains cinder cones, tree moulds, lava tubes and caves, spatter cones, and Lava Lake.

Location

Located 100 kilometres north of Terrace, British Columbia on the Nisga'a Highway.

Size

17,683 hectares in size.
