Anjangaon

Anjangaon is a city and a municipal council in Amravati district in the state of Maharashtra, India.

Geography

Anjangaon is located at [18.08° N 75.6° E][Falling Rain Genomics, Inc - Anjangaon]. It has an average elevation of 475 metres (1558 feet).

Demographics

As of 2001 India census^{[Geographic references#IndiaGRIndia]}, Anjangaon had a population of 51,163. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Anjangaon has an average literacy rate of 73%, higher than the national average of 59.5%; with 54% of the males and 46% of females literate. 15% of the population is under 6 years of age.
