Anne Snelgrove

Anne Christine Snelgrove (born August 7, 1957, Wokingham) is the Labour MP for Swindon South. She was elected in the 2005 general election. She is PPS to both Lord Warner as Minister of State, Department of Health and Andy Burnham, Minister of State, Department of Health.
She was educated at Ranelagh School in Bracknell, King Alfred's College, Winchester and City University, London. She is a member of the Co-operative Party, Amicus and Amnesty International. Previously she worked in education, as a teacher for 8 years and Local Education Authority Adviser for 7 years.
Her praise of John Prescott before the House of Commons [link] led the satirical magazine Private Eye to award her a special backbench "OBE" (Order of the Brown Nose).
