Anodiscus

Anodiscus is a genus of the plant family Gesneriaceae with a single species, A. xanthophyllus. The species occurs in Ecuador and Peru. Recent phylogenetic studies have revealed that Anodiscus is closely related to Gloxinia perennis, the type species of Gloxinia, and A. xanthophyllus has been transferred to that genus as Gloxinia xanthophylla.
