Appanooose County Railroad is a swtiching road located in southeastern Iowa. Its main route links the county seats of Centerville (Appanoose County) and Albia (Monroe County). The line is comprised of sections of the old Rock Island and Wabash Railroads, both now defunct. Plastic resins are its main source of traffic, which it brings in for Rubbermaid Home Products and Curwood Packaging.
