Ard Fheis

You may be looking for the French Ardèche, which is pronounced the same as Ard Fheis.

An Ard Fheis is an annual convention, usually of a political party. It is an Irish word, which can be translated loosely as "High Festival". It should be written "ArdFheis" and was first used for annual convention of Conradh na Gaeilge.
