Arlene Phillips

Arlene Phillips OBE (born 1952 in Manchester, Lancashire, England) is a British choreographer working in many fields of dance.
She is the creator of now infamous Hot Gossip (1975), a group which changed the style of dance on British television. Responsible for the original choreography of many West End and Broadway shows, numerous music videos, commercials and TV shows.
She is a frequently acid-tongued judge in the 2005 series of BBC show 'Strictly Come Dancing', which ended in December 2005. Earlier on 2005, she was also a judge on the weekly BBC show Strictly Dance Fever, presented by Graham Norton.
Biography
Arlene trained as a dancer in Manchester, attending the Muriel Tweedy School of Dance.Musical Credits
