Ars

Ars is an Israeli term for a person of bad manners, flashy jewelry, and rudeness.

Etymology: from the Arabic language 'ars: young shepherd, but mostly used in urban areas to denote a pimp. A long form used sometimes is "arsawwat".

Arsim (the plural form) are the butt of many jokes by stand-up comedians, especi such as Shalom Asayag and others who hail from small towns, which are ars territory.
