Arsenic trichloride (AsCl3) is a chemical compound. When stored, it must be kept away from sunlight, water and moisture.
This compound may be prepared under a lab hood by reacting reagent grade Arsenic trioxide with reagent grade Thionyl chloride. Copious quantities of sulfur dioxide are released.
