Arthur and the Invisibles is a part animated, part live action film adaptation of the children's book by Luc Besson, who is directing the film himself. The film was originally to be titled Arthur and the Minimoys, but the name was altered for reasons of clarity. Produced by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and The Weinstein Company, it is currently scheduled to be released in Belgium and France on December 13, 2006, and in the United States on January 12, 2007. [link]

Premise
10-year-old Arthur goes on a quest to find the treasure of the fabled Minimoys, tiny fantastical beings living in harmony with nature, so he can save his grandfather's house from being demolished.
