The Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) is a British Research Council that provides government funding for grants to undertake research in the arts and humanities, mainly to universities in the United Kingdom. The AHRC also manages funding for university museums, galleries and other collections on behalf of HEFCE. The head office is in Bristol.

The AHRC also partially funds the Arts and Humanities Data Service to act as an electronic archive of digital resources created under its funding streams and the Humbul Humanities Hub to assist the Humanities research community to discover scholarly online resources.

The current Chairman of the AHRC is Sir Brian Follett, and its Chief Executive is Professor Philip Esler.
