Asago (朝来市; -shi) is a city located in Hyogo, Japan.
The city was formed on April 1, 2005 from the merger of all four towns of the former Asago District: Asago (town), Ikuno, Santo, and Wadayama.
As of March 31, 2005 the city has an estimated population of 35,762 and a density of 88.7 persons per km². The total area is 402.98 km².
