Asakura Yoshikage (朝倉義景) (1533-1573) Asakura Yoshikage, a notable feudal lord of Echizen.

It is known that the greatest character flaw of Yoshikage, was indecision. As the years passed, Yoshikage decided to serve under the likes of Azai Nagamasa. Even launching a pincer attack strategy against Oda Nobunaga. But he failed in the task of capturing him. During the Battle of Anegawa, he was defeated before he even reached the battlefield. In the year of 1573 he was sadly betrayed even by his own men, and he was forced to kill himself.
