Asia Pacific

Asia Pacific is a term used to portions of Asia and the Pacific Rim. The term typically excludes the Middle East, and often much of central and southern Asia as well. Specific definitions vary widely. For example, the BBC excludes South Asia and the Americas, while the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation organization includes nations from across the Pacific Rim.
