The Asian Boyz street gang was formed in Long Beach, California around the middle of 1980s. Its members are of predominately Southeast Asian descent. The gang name is frequently abbreviated to ABZ, particularly on the street graffiti. The Asian Boyz have known sets throughout most of the state of California and have even establish chapters all over across the United States. Their current criminal activities includes home invasion, extorting, gambling, auto theft, taking drugs, and assault. Their members' ages range from 12 to a maximum of 40 years of age. Most members of the Asian Boyz appeared in a videotaped poolhall shooting, with rival gang the Wah Ching, that was aired on the America's Most Wanted television program. Asian Boyz today have caused chaos in many communes across the country. Asian Boyz Gang is, second to some, the largest Asian gang in the US, while their main rivals The Tiny Raskal Gang is the largest Asian gang.
