Aspredinidae

Aspredinidae (order Siluriformes), also known as the Banjo catfishes, is a family of freshwater fishes found in the rivers of South America. They received this name because of their flat bodies, resembling a small banjo. There are around thirteen genera and 60 species of Banjo catfishes.
