Assabet Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School (AVRVTHS), or simply Assabet, is an alternative school for the towns of Marlborough, Hudson, Maynard, Berlin, Boylston, West Boylston, Clinton, Shrewsbury, Westborough, Northborough, and Southborough. It is in a urban and rural area with the largest and only city being Marlborough, with a population of over 37,000 people. It offers 19 different vocational shops:

On academic weeks, most academic students have 1st lunch at 11:25, but some students, depending on their schedule, have a double period starting at 10:46. Since it is a double period, 2 periods in a row, the second period of that double period would be at 11:25 and last until 12:07. So, those students would go to the 2nd lunch at 12:07.
