Assad class corvette

The Assad Class Corvette was originally built for Iraq during the Iran-Iraq War, by Italy. They became operational during Operation Desert Storm, and were never delivered. They served in Italy as the Lupo class frigate. In 2005 it was announced they would finally be delivered to the New Iraqi Navy.
