Aston is an area of Birmingham, England, in the north-east of the city centre. It is also a ward within the formal district of Ladywood. Aston was originally a town and borough in its own right, being created the urban district of Aston Manor in 1894, promoted to being a municipal borough in 1903, before being annexed to Birmingham in 1911.
