AstroPop

AstroPop is a popular puzzle game developed by PopCap Games.

Gameplay

The object is to clear the bricks in each level to fill up the "Brick-O-Meter". To make a move, clear 4 or more bricks of the same color by grabbing a maximum of 6 same-colored bricks and releasing them into the field of bricks. There are three pilots in this game; Vector, Sprocket and Turbot. Vector is your default pilot in the game. The other two pilots can be unlocked in the game by completing certain requirements in the game. Each of the pilots have a powerful weapon known as the SUPA. SUPA weapons could be used as a last resort, clearing most of the bricks on the stage when activated. A SUPA weapon can be activated if the "SUPA meter" has reached its full capacity. SUPA Weapons are upgraded as you progress through the game. Each pilot's SUPA weapon has unique functions:

Vector: SUPA Plasma Cannon. When activated, you can fire the weapon on desired rows of bricks for a limited time.

Sprocket: SUPA Fusion Warhead. When activated, the weapon creates a atomic fusion, clearing most of the bricks.

Turbot: SUPA Neutron Pulse. When activated, the weapon releases a blue pulse, clearing blocks and freezing time.

Bricks

Standard: These bricks have no markings on them. These bricks come in various colors. These bricks can only be destroyed by clearing four bricks of the same color.

Supercharger: These bricks create explosives that destroy nearby bricks when popped.

Hyper Brick: These multi-colored bricks help fill the Brick-O-Meter when popped.

Radial Bomb: These bricks destroy all adjaent bricks when popped.

Stone Bricks: These bricks cannot be grabbed. The only way to destroy them are to pop bricks next to them.

Row Nuke: These bricks destroys all bricks in a row when popped.

Steel Brick: These bricks are similar to Stone Bricks except you need to pop bricks TWICE to destroy them.

Freeze Bomb: These snowfake marked bricks freeze time temporarily

Toxic Brick: These bricks are a pain in the butt!!! If not destroyed immediately, these bricks can infect the intire field of bricks!!

Color Bomb: These bricks destroy all same-colored bricks when matched with designated color.

Column Nuke: These bricks destroy an entire column when popped.

Game Modes

Classic(Arcade): Pop bricks to fill the Brick-O-Meter to level up. Recieve upgrades for your SUPA Weapons. Reach checkpoints every 4 levels to warp to other levels.

Survival: Pop bricks until your pilot dies. Beat the clock!!

Bonus Rounds: Found during Classic Mode. Clear all the bricks to recieve more points!!
