Asuwa District, Fukui

Asuwa (足羽郡; -gun) was a district located in Fukui Prefecture, Japan.
As of 2003, the district had an estimated population of 5,044 and a density of 36.62 persons per km². The total area was 137.73 km².
Former towns and villages
On February 1, 2006 the town of Miyama merged into the city of Fukui. Asuwa District was dissolved with this merger.
