Athanasios Diakos Street

} The Athanasios Diakos Street is a short major street in Athens linking Vassilias Amalias Avenue and Andreas Syngrou Avenue, it is a smal branck linking with Vouliagmenis Avenue where it ends along with Kalliroi and Ardatou Streets which links with Vasileiou Konstantinou Avenue. It also contains a small intersection with Iosif Rogou Street which is used for local traffic. Its total length is only nearly 200 m.

Residential buildings lies on the southwest side and forests lies to the northeast side.

History

The avenue was added in the mid to late 18th century. It was later paved and added streetcar lanes as well. Street lights and traffic lights were added in the 1950s.
