Atsuya Furuta

Atsuya Furuta (古田 敦也, b. August 6 1965, Kawanishi, Hyogo, Japan) is the catcher for the Tokyo Yakult Swallows professional baseball club in the Central League. He became the player-manager of Tokyo Yakult Swallows in 2005.
