Auchinawa

Auchinawa is a four day anime convention in Glasgow, Scotland. 2006 will be the first convention to be held.

Auchinawa '06

The Auchinawa '06 convention will run 30th November to 3rd December 2006, at the The Quality Hotel (known to some as the Central Hotel), which is located in the very heart of Glasgow's town centre and is partially inside Glasgow Central train station. The amount of available spaces has been decreased to 450 (totalling 600 people including guests and ancillaries)

A large number of events are scheduled, including such areas as anime and manga, catgirl culture, Japanese music, gaming and cosplay, amongst others. Currently the official website confirms the DDRUK.com Official Tournament and, as guests, Jan Scott Frazier, Scott Ramsoomair of webcomic VGCats, Dave Cheung and Jamal Joseph Jnr of webcomic Chugworth Academy, Paul Gravett and Mugenkyo.
