Audiovox Corporation NASDAQ: [VOXX]. The Group's principal activities are to design and market handsets and accessories for wireless communications and to provide services for wireless carriers, security products, automotive entertainment, consumer electronics and automotive electronic accessories. The trademarks of the Group include Audiovox(R), Prestige(R), Pursuit(R) and Rampage(TM). Customers of the Group include Verizon Communications, Air AirTouch Communications, GTE Mobilnet, PrimeCo Communications, Frontier, Ameritech and Vodafone. [Audiovox products] are sold through a distribution network covering the United States, Canada and other foreign markets.

Its president is Philip Christopher.

On November 1, 2004, Audiovox sold their cell phone subsidiary Audiovox Communications Corp to UTStarcom.
