Aurora Cable Internet
Encyclopedia : A : AU : AUR : Aurora Cable Internet
Aurora Cable Internet is a Canadian company, which provides digital cable television, cable internet and VOIP service in the towns of Aurora and Oak Ridges, Ontario.
Because the company uses DOCSIS 2.0 systems, Aurora Cable Internet is able to make the claim as the "Fastest Internet Provider" in North America, as shown by DSL reports' "Fastest ISP" table: http://www.dslreports.com/archive.
ACI is also the last remaining independently owned cable distributor in the Greater Toronto Area. Apart from Aurora, the region is served exclusively by larger national cable companies, either Rogers Cable or Cogeco.
