Aurora Community Television is an Australian subscription television channel that screens programs about Australia and the Australian community. It is a non-profit channel that is provided free of charge to all digital subscribers.
It was launched on March 1 2005, and it is now broadcasting on Foxtel and Austar's digital networks. Aurora is available to all digital subscribers on the basic tier at no extra cost and also to all business and educational institutions through the appropriate business and education packages. Programs cover the spectrum of comedy, politics, religion, popular culture, the arts and entertainment.
