Since 1986, , i.e. , is a pro tuner of Nissan cars but sells the cars through Nissan dealers. Some famous cars produced by Autech ("Autech Version") are the Skyline GT-R Autech Version 40th Anniversary (R33 4DOOR), Silvia Autech Version K's MF-T (S14), Pulsar Serie 3DOOR Hatchback VZ-R N1 version II (JN15) and the Stagea Autech Version 260RS (WC34). The 260RS had a Skyline GT-R (R33) tuned motor and drivetrain. Autech Japan also tune GT500 class Nismo racing car engines (Skyline GT-R R34 and Fairlady Z Z33) competing in the All Japan Grand Touring Car Championship (recently renamed Super GT) against famous tuners such as BMW Motorsport, Mugen and Toyota Techno Craft.

Some Autech Japan models are featured in Japanese Driving games including "Gran Turismo 4" and "Sega GT".
