Avi Strool

Avi Strool (Hebrew: אבי סטרול) (born September 18, 1980) is an Israeli football player who plays as a defender for Maccabi Tel-Aviv and is a member of the Israel national football team player pool.

Strool grew up in the youth system of Maccabi Tel Aviv and has spent his entire career there. Recently he agreed to terms with Maccabi Netanya but has been unable to receive a transfer from his current club.

Being of Romanian descent, the player holds two passports, Israeli and Romanian and there have been rumors linking him to Steaua Bucureşti[link].
