Awadhi language

Awadhi is an Indian language, often considered a dialect of Hindi, spoken in the Awadh (Oudh) region of Uttar Pradesh. Its speakers are also found in Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi and Nepal. It is the dialect in which the Raamcharitmaanas of Tulsidaas and other important works of Hindi literature are written.
It is spoken by at least 20,000,000 people.
