Encyclopedia : B : B5 : B5B : B5 (band)
B5 is an American R&B boy band originating from Atlanta, Georgia. They are of both Caucasian and African-American descent. Similar to The Jackson 5, B5 takes its name from Breeding 5, the surname of the five brothers. B5 consists of Dustin Breeding, Kelly Breeding, Patrick Breeding, Carnell Breeding, and Bryan Breeding. While not on tour they live with their mother in Atlanta, GA.
B5 is managed by Jim McMahan of JAMM Entertainment Group. Through Jim McMahan's help and determination, B5 landed a great audition that eventually got them signed to P. Diddy's Bad Boy Records. They are most likely the youngest artists to ever be signed to the label.
Since signing with P. Diddy and Bad Boy Records B5 has performed with Mario Winans, Kanye West, Ginuwine, Usher, Fantasia, Bow Wow, Joe and others.
