BBC Radio Cornwall is the BBC Local Radio service for the Cornwall, in the United Kingdom, also covering the Isles of Scilly. It broadcasts from its studios in Truro on 95.2, 96.0 and 103.9 FM, as well as on DAB. Prior to its launch on 17 January 1983, BBC regional radio broadcasting for Cornwall amounted to the breakfast show 'Morning Sou'West' on the AM frequencies of Radio 4 in Devon and Cornwall. Initially Radio Cornwall shared an afternoon programme with BBC Radio Devon, but now sustains a full daytime service, linking with other BBC local stations in the south-west and west for a regional evening service. The station broadcasts a short weekly news bulletin in the Cornish language.

From 1st May 2006, not only does BBC Radio Cornwall provide the Evening Programme to the South West that it has for the last year, but now it provides a local late night show to Cornwall, Devon, Jersey and Guernsey until 1am. Trevor Fry's programme is still available on BBC Radio Bristol, Gloucester, Wiltshire, Swindon and Somerset Sound to this day.External links
