BBC Radio Kent is the BBC Local Radio service for the English county of Kent. Launched in 1970 as BBC Radio Medway, originally serving the Medway Towns from Chatham. It gained its current name when its operations were expanded to Kent in 1983 as part of the BBC's policy of operating county-wide radio stations.

It currently broadcasts on FM on 96.7 (West Kent, Wrotham transmitter), 97.6 (Folkestone area) and 104.2 (East Kent, Swingate transmitter) also 774 (Littlebourne) and 1602 (Rusthall) MW and DAB.

Radio Kent used to be based at Sun Pier, Chatham and still has a small studio nearby. In 2001 the station moved to The Great Hall, Mount Pleasant Road, Tunbridge Wells, shortly before the regional television news programme BBC South East Today went on air. There are additional news studios throughout the county used by district reporters, and a radio car for outside broadcasts.
