BD's Mongolian Barbeque is an American restaurant chain serving almost exclusively patron-prepared stir-fry meals.
The restaurant currently has 25 locations, mostly concentrated in the northern Midwest. The chain recently opened a franchise in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
The name of the franchise is somewhat misleading, because neither the ingredients used nor the preparation methods applied have anything in common with traditional Mongolian cuisine. The term "Mongolian" is rather meant to imply a vaguely "exotic" type of food.
