BVN-TV, often abbreviated to BVN (Het Beste van Vlaanderen en Nederland; meaning the Best from the Netherlands and Flanders - sometimes also called: het Beeld van Vlaanderen en Nederland; meaning Image of the Netherlands and Flanders) is a public television channel for Dutch and Flemish viewers all over the world. The channel broadcasts only in Dutch, sourcing its programmes from various Dutch and Belgian broadcasting associations. BVN-TV started broadcasting Zomer-TV (Summer-TV) in 1996 and was later established as a company. Since then, BVN has developed into a major television channel that can be viewed all over the world, gaining even more countries to broadcast to every year.
